I am actively planning my 55 gal community tank. It's fishless cycling right now. suggestions please...

I am planning on 6 Corys, 10 neon tetras, 5 tequila sunrise guppies (4f, 1m) and a few ghost shrimp.

1st are these ok numbers?
What "centerpiece" fish (not needing schools) would you all suggest?

I love bettas but they would nip the guppies. I also like angles. Perhaps a pair of babies when the neons get bigger?

I am somewhat wed to the neons as my son already has 3 in his 5 gal hex tank. They'll be moved to the 55 gal and added to once the 55 cycles.

Thanks for all your insights and ideas.

I've heard that german blue rams and bolivian rams would do good. I'm having the same thoughts as I'm also doing a south american biotope and I need a centerpiece fish. They look extremely cute and are good little fish- I've heard... I'd wait until someone else adds on for ideas
