I've been at it for almost a year now. Here's what she looked like when we started.

I am running 2 actinic and 2 12000K HO bulbs, 2 bio wheel 280 filters, a Coralife 110G protein skimmer, 2-750 GPH Koralia power heads, 1-475 GPH Koralia powerhead, and a Koralia wave maker.

Here's the most recent full tank photo I have. I have 2 chromis, 2 oscillaris clownfish, and a regal blue tang.

It's hard to see the tang in this second pic but she is hiding in a hole in one of the big rocks.

My coral list includes: Toadstool Leather, Goniopora, Colt Coral, Green Leather, Green Frilly Mushroom, Purple Zoanthid Button Polyps, and some Orange Polyps.

I also have a Maze Brain, Pipe Organ, and a Feather Duster that I don't have photos of. My CUC consists of several hermit crabs, 4 conch snails, about 10 nassarius snails, a sand sifting starfish, a black brittle starfish, 2 peppermint shrimp and 2 porcelain crabs. I only have photos of the starfish and one of the crabs.

Well, this is my tank. I feed my fish a variety of 6 different frozen foods. I give them a half a cube every other day. I put kelp out for the tang. I also drop a couple of sinking shrimp pellets for the crabs on the days I feed the fish. On the days I don't feed the fish, I spot feed my corals with a mixture of reef fuel, phytoplankton, and coral smoothie.

Please ask any questions about my setup or tank! I hope you enjoyed the photos.

Nice tank, all your coral looks great. How long have you had the sand sifting starfish and what kind is it? I've heard they are hard to keep alive, slowly starve to death. +1 and a thumb on the Lions helmet plaque!

That was my helmet from high school! The Blanchard Lions. Lol. They mounted our helmets we used our senior year. The starfish died about a month ago. He started losing his legs so I took him out before he actually died in the tank. I didn't know they slowly died off like that. I won't be getting another one.

Sorry you lost him.
That's exactly what I've heard about those starfish. I won't be getting one.
Lol on the helmet. I took all my Det. Lions stuff down years ago. Thought you may be the last faithful fan. Lol.

I've had my sand sifter since October. I do have a really DSB. He does a good job moving the sand around for me. Sorry you lost yours.

My sand bed wasn't very deep. Only about an inch and a half. I'm fixing to start adding sand to make it deeper. Gonna go to about 3".
