My local store wanted $79+ for a 'good' test kit. Where can I get one for a little less?

I saw one at Petsmart the other day for 27.00. It was for a reef tank. The basic SW one was the same price. It was AP brand. BTW welcome to AA

Look for the Aquarium Pharmaceuticals SW Test Kit. If your LFS still wants to sell it to you for $79, order it online.

Wow... $79 for a test kit?! I think you'd find a better price at just about any other store in town! There usually a factor of 2:1 on online prices to LFS prices, but $79 seems quite excessive!

I use Salifert or LaMotte test kits for most items. They are pricey but are also considered to be the best (most consistent and accurate).
