Christmas tree worm

I have a rock covered in christmas tree worms some of the area they are on is brown but starting to turn white what causes this and what should I do? Water params are ok just checked them

As in coral bleaching? How long is your light on for? I havent read much about xmas tree worms, So im not sure if they're causing it.

I guess it is just getting white areas light is on about 4 to 5 hours a day

Mm, Maybe bump it up to 6-7 and do you have it on a timer? So its the same time everyday. If not, this will be confusing to the fish and corals.
