I woke this morning to find numerous clear sacs and each one has what

looks like white eggs inside on the front glass... I have never seen these

before as I had snail eggs all over the glass. now a few weeks ago I

added 15 Nassarius snails (last eggs were Certh), is it possible these are

Nassarius eggs?

Or maybe something more sinister that has been waiting for the right

conditions to emerge and take over the world? ...

ps..The sacs are about the size of a ball point pen tip.

anyway you can get a picture?

They dont show up clearly, I will try again when the brights come on,just

the actinics are are right now. Ive been looking around the net and found

one pic but it showed sacs in a straight line, these are scattered

yea, my nassarius layed tons of these when i first put them in the tank. people say that the larva that come from the eggs make good food for about anything in the tank. they will prob hatch in a day or two.no harm, scrape em off.

Apparently my fish could not wait, they are all gone except the sole egg

sac that I was able to get to the fuge before Nemo attacked me. 8O .

Every where I went looking says nassarius snails will not breed in the

home setting, this is the second time I have found them.

I was hoping they would make it then I wouldnt have to buy them again.

they will breed but they dont servive due to the harsh enviroment- filters, fish, ect...
