My clown fish won't host any of the corals I have in my tank but the last two days they have been hosting the strainer cup for my filter. Is this normal. I know that they may not host the corals but the cup thing is throwing me for a loop. It is hilarious to watch also.

I really want my pair of small ocellaris clowns to host my hammer corals. But so far they "host" the corner of my tank above my heater. I just added the second one, though. And it was hosting a rose bubble tip anemone at the LFS, so I'm hoping he will find the hammers and bring the other clown with him. It was awesome to see them pair up the instant I added the second one. Love at first sight, I guess.

Good luck to us all. Clowns are curious little fish. :)
