What is a good coral or any specific anemone that can host clown fish that is guareenteed?

The martial hosts of common, OC and percular clownfish are:

Heteractis magnifica
Stichodactyla gigantea
S. Mertensii

Usually they host Bubble Tip Anemones, and they seem to be the cheapest/easiest to care for. What clownfish do you have?

there is no guarantee that your clown will be hosted by an anemone or coral. my ocellaris are hosted by my gonipora and hob refugium. even when i had a Entacmaea quadricolor in with them.

They will even occasionally corals, or random things, like PHs. I have seen them host Xenias and GSPs.

There is absolutely no guarantee that the clowns will host any nem. Mine hosted a coral. :)

Unless you have an established tank with high lighting and pristine water I would pass on the nem.

I just got a small mated pair of occelaris clowns, they are so funny. kinda hoping that they will host something I get in the future, but no broken heart if they don't :)
