Clown food

What would y'all recommend for food? I got some froze. Cubes that my LFS told me was best and they would get their vitamins? Also should I throw in some sea weed? I've seen a lot of tanks w sea weed in them

And how often to feed them? Bc a guy til me one Lil cub that I got would last 2 days

I feed my clowns flake, pellets and mostly frozen food. I make up large batches from flat packs of frozen stuff in a large party cup and use a turkey baster to feed my tanks. Once a day feeding is probably fine.

IMO it`s always better to feed a variety. I feed mine flakes, frozen mysis, vitamin fortified brine (frozen) and occasionally some small pellets. I know I would not like to be confined to a single food.

I feed mine flake and rods food usually. Those frozen cubes seem to make my nitrates jump when I use them, I even rinse them in ro water before feeding them.

One more question... I read that tanks only need 8-12 hours light... Any thoughts about tht?

I keep my lights on for 7 hrs.
