I have a CO2 Hagen going in my planted tank and I want to add some Amano shrimp. Do I need to shut down the CO2 with the shrimp?

Just stay around 30ppm of CO2 and your fish/inverts should have no problems.

No shrimp like CO2. Breeders can testify that any amount of co2 more than atmospheric will slow down shrimp growth and breeding. Although it may not stunt their life processes completely it's a noticeable difference. CRS should not be kept in CO2 at all. I'm starting to think that the reason why my shrimp always die is because of my co2 which can climb to 50 ppm at night.

I have amano shrimp in my 10 gallon, which has CO2 injection. As long as I keep the drop checker to lime green as the highest, they don't seem to even notice.
