columbian shark sick. ick?

columbian shark sick.

well he has little dots all over him. i had him for a month in another tank so he wouldn't get eaten. he got big enough so i put him into the big tank. the next day he had little fuzzy white dots all over him. looks like sugar. im thinking its ich any help would be appreciated. i dont want to treat him for ich if its a fungus. picture is kinda hard to see what im talking about but here it is

RidIch is a great product. Ive used that and salt on many channel cats.

has anyone heard of ichguard 2. its supposed to be just for scaless fish.
