Coraline on my Chili!!!!

How do I get the coraline to not grow on my Chili Coral? I have had the chili for about a month and he is getting covered with coraline. What can I do to save him and get the coraline off of him? Thanks

Put it in a dark area (cave) with good water flow. The chili is not photosynthetic.
