Ok...well this is the first time I've wanted to actually show these off. The first is my $ 75.00 CL find. A 40 long with stand. it was pretty unattractive when I got it but what did I know then? ( it was my first tank in 20 years )

It seems to work far better with the Fluval 405 and Odyssea light set up from Amazon.

THIS...is my $80.00 Craigslist find, to upgrade my son's little 10 Gal. A 29 Gal with a fluval 205, a beautiful stand and about 4 fish that I adopted with the tank. Changed the nasty substrate that was in it, and decor and fish are mostly from the Wet Spot.

Just found this week was a complete, original Juwel 75 Gal flat back Hex tank which will be the next project....

I found a 58 gallon with lights and stand on CL for $75, going to pick it up Tuesday. I'll post some pics when I get it home.

I about had a 150 gal fully set up with about 40 cichlids for only 100$ then the guy backed out last minute. It made me mad.

I actually have a couple of good finds.
I found a 100 gallon complete with a fluval 405 for $80
The next is a 20g and a 30g for free complete with filters, lights, hoods, fish, and bubble makers. I got real lucky with these!

Some guy I found on Craigslist lived around the corner from me sold me a 55 gallon tall with fluval 405, a large hang on filter, heater, air pump, gravel, decorations, and supplies for $75!

I bought my 90g with stand, Hood, t5 light fixture, two filter, a power strip, a timer and 100lbs of really nice gravel for $150.

Thers also a free 45g with stand on CL for free haha

Craigslist around me is almost hopeless. The sellers all think they are going to get their original investment back or make a huge profit so all of the prices are way higher than new set ups from the lfs. Some of them are really rediculous!!

My tank is home! $75 for the tank, light, and stand, they gave me a mediocre little filter free, and I bought a nice air pump for $3, a 100 watt heater for $2, and a big magfloat for $2. It came with blue gravel, but I'm going to replace it with some sand. I'm so happy, but now I have to clean it up and fill it, and move it again.

There it is.

I found these two deals yesterday. The first one is crazy and the second one is amazing. The first two pictures are of the first deal and the third pic is of the second deal.

I got a 135 gallon for $150 - the stand was in bad shape so I sanded it and painted it and put new hinges on the doors. The tank was just really dirty but cleaned up nice - good investment I think.

That is an awesome find! I love what you did with the stand.

Best deal so far was a 20g and wood stand for 10.00

Also one of my 55g was 150 with all equip gravel ( days of bleaching ) and assorted supplies
