Will salt hurt the cycle of a tank? I'm treating for ich in a very newly cycled tank!!!

Sent from my iPod touch using Aquarium

I would say yes a little, because even when you add salt , you are not adding high concentrations.

Salt has a killing effect in bacteria, specially if the concentration is high.

Salt is a natural mold and bacteria inhibitor in high concentration, depends on how much you are adding

You won't need a high concentration. Dissolve the salt in water first and then add it slowly to the tank. It's not going to interfere with your cycle.
