Cycling without pure ammonia?

Don't pee in your tank people. Human urine does not have ammonia in it; it has urea, which must also be broken down by bacteria (that aren't in the tank).
 
Human urine can contain ammonia, if youre dehydrated, or people with higher protein intake, body builders can have excessive ammonia in their urine. But i agree the average heathly person should have next to no ammonia in their urine and i certainly wouldnt ever recommend weeing into a tank for cycling purposes.
 
Yes, if you have a UTI, dehydration, or impaired liver function, you may have ammonia in your urine, but my point stands. It's a silly thing to even bring up.
