So just bought 3 dalmatian mollies (2 females 1 male). They seem pretty comfortable exploring and all, but 1 female is all alone. Should I have gotten 2 pairs instead?

1M:2F is the minimum livebearer ratio
Otherwise the males would stress the females to death

My platies do the same thing, the male will only mate/pay attention with one platy, not the other in the trio. I have tried switching out bot females and he does the same thing.

They are not schooling fish, fish don't have feelings either lol. She's fine by herself for a whie
