Dalmatian Molly colour change..

As per the title our Dalmatian Molly seems to have gone from primarily silver black back to more Molly like all over black...

Food ? Environment ? They just do that ? She is a he ?

Any input welcome..

The first thing that can affect your fish is their water. Mollies are very sensitive to changes in the water chemistry. They must have pure water conditions at all times. Could be all that needs to happen is an improved water change routine. Smaller tanks up to 30 gallons need most of the water removed and replaced a couple of times a week. Larger tanks can go a bit longer between water changes, but still need most of the water changed.

Cheers matey ! Got one planned for the weekend along with phosphate and carbon filter change too. Will see what gives after that I think.
