Dead molly Q

So, last week my white molly died for reasons unknown. Today my black molly passed away for unknown reasons. I totally thought that after my tank was fully cycle I wouldn't have any dead.
Info:
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5.0
pH 7.4 -7.6

Tank buddies
Balloon mollies
Neon tetras
Cory catfish
Plattys
Spotted African leaf fish (calm)

30-50% water change weekly

I don't know why I keep having random deads.

Where did you buy them?

How long ago did you purchase the most recently acquired fish?

Where did you buy it?

Any signs of ich? Were they gasping at the surface near time of death? Are you sure your temps are staying consistent? Using water conditioner?(I know sounds obvious but you would be surprised) just a few more questions to add to those already posted

I bought them when I started cycleing my tank and they all survive throw the cycle.
A friend gift them from petsmart
The last time I purchase a fish was last week to replace my white molly
And at petsmart

No ich. Both of them just had trouble swimming and stay on the bottom.
Pretty sure they are. I check every 4 days. Water conditioner ( I use prime)
