Detritus

So I've been seeing these little white squiggly worms in my tank did a little research and found them to be either Detritus or Planaria. Any one know the difference? and how to rid of them? I only see them when the substrate is disturbed while doing WC, and I try to siphon as many as I can but every WC I see a few more. I'm good on tank maintenance so idk how I'm getting them any info helps tanks
