Aquarium Advice Freak
Hello hello!
I wasn't sure whether to post this in the unhealthy fish section or the breeding section, so I chose here after some debate. Forgive me if it's the wrong place!
I noticed this morning that one of my diamond tetras appears to have developed a somewhat swollen belly. She's the only fish in the tank who looks any different and aside from the bulge, is acting perfectly normal (eating, swimming actively, etc.). Is she carrying eggs or should I be concerned about her health?
Tank parameters are normal:
Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 10-15
pH 7.4
Fish are on NLS flake with occasional freeze-dried tubifex, which I pre-soak. I also feed shelled peas the day after tubifex, last time was 2 days ago. Oh, and my tetras also steal algae wafers from my bristlenose, so I suppose I should include those too.
Thanks in advance for your help!
