Different Water Test Results between LFS and home

I use API and they use Hagen. I read an 8 degree kh and they read 5.

which one would you rely on?

They suggested it was the kH affecting my C.Hasbrosus and to get it to 3.

Well now I read a 5. God only knows what results they would get. Should I go back and check or go on my results?

Tempted to take my test kit there. LOL

Actually I would take your test kit! Do tests side by side to look for any differences in your techniques, like agitation times and intensity.

Sigh I took it in. Results are different :/ how accurate are these tests I wonder.
