hi guys,

im intrested in getting some discus and i was wondering how to go about the water conditions .. do i have to use ro water ?. and if i do when i do a water change do i have to replace the removed water with ro water or normal tap water . im clear on pretty much averything els like water temp and ph levels n stuff its just the water question i need help with.

thanks in advance guys

What are your ph and nitrate levels out of the tap? Odds are you won't have to use RO water, I don't. Unless your ph is one extreme or the other, you won't really have to worry about that either as long as it remains stable. My ph out of the tap is 7.6 and nitrate is in the 10-20 range.

hey paytertot

erm my oh out the taop is 7.2 but i dont know what the nitrate is atm :( forgot to pick up a test kit today for that . knew i forgot something
