Im thinking that they would make good repitle hides!!! especially for my snakes...

They do....for small snakes....I like overturned terracotta cactus pans for larger snakes and fish.

Yeah, that was worth the look for a couple of chuckles. And yes, I made one, too, and it was a pain in the neck (mainly because I don't own a saw) but my dwarf puffers like it and it looks pretty natural in the tank.

i have arachnophobia

weird i know becuase i love snakes and reptiles, lizards, even bugs i don't mind too much. But i am mortally terrified of spiders. *shiver... their just creepy.
