I'm hoping to make a sponge filter for my 2g tank. I have the air stone and pump and am about to get a sponge. I have a dead HOB filter that is falling apart. I was wondering if I could use the water-sucky-in-part of the filter instead of getting PVC pipe since it already has some holes in it... Thanks!!!
