Hey guys, So im a little new to refugiums but had a few thoughts after yesterdays cleanup.
Now i have a 20h nanoreef with a phosban 150 reactor and a hydor slim skim nano with an aquaclear 70 HOB filter stuffed with carbon and love rock rubble. Now when i took the basket out of the aquaclear i left the pump running and i realized the water circles around the filter a little before being returned to the tank. I thought thisnwould be good waterflow for a refugeium, Now if i were to fill this with carbon and macro algae (ofcourse find a small light for it) would this work? Or am i going to need miricle mud or something for it to work properly? Because im pretty sure a substrate in there wont be a good idea..
