easiest carpet plant

In low light conditions plants tend to grow up ,to get closer to the light, rather than out to cover the surrounding area.
I don't now if there is an "easy" carpeting plant that will thrive in the conditions you describe. I suppose you could try growing Java Moss tied to some of that plastic canvas you get at craft stores.
 
Which is the easiest carpet plant. No co2, low light and using root tabs


Look into Marsilea sp. It is a slow grower and it'll take a long time, but it is a nice looking plant. Crypt parva is another nice option, but it grows really slow as well--with patience, it'll eventually give a carpet effect.
