I have a tire track eel can I put another eel in with it. If so does it have to be the same type

I wouldn't put another eel in at all. They aren't very species friendly .. generally only kept with large cichlids and catfish etc. And because they get 3ft in length, 150 gallon is probably only suited for 1 anyways

So far it has been very good in the tank and is only 8" long so far
