Feeding veggies?

The only veggie I've fed my fish is smashed pea. I've read about a lot of other veggies people feed, but I'm wondering how to do it? I don't think all vegetables are amenable to smashing.

Also, how often do you feed vegetables? My fish like peas, but I am not sure if it is bad to feed them to the fish a couple of times a week.

It really depends what kind of fish you are talking about.

I used to feed my bristlenose canned green beans.

I used to feed my bristlenose canned green beans.

Platys and their fry, Molly, guppy, julii cories, bleeding heart tetras and glow light tetras.

The fry are in their own tank as are the glow lights.

My Pleco LOVES cucumbers! My Oto Cats like cucumbers too, but my betta fish eats mashed peas and corn sometimes.

How do you feed the cucumbers?
