Aquarium Advice Newbie
Hi! I did try and do a search for this before posting, so sorry if this is already posted somewhere.
I am going to be setting up an XP3 canister filter. I had 2 questions about the setup. My tank is a 55 gallon long. Should I try and run the intake and outlet tubes on opposite sides of the tank? Or is there no real difference between that and putting outlet and inlet right next to each other. The instruction manual shows both ways. The second question: is there any reason to choose the spray bar over the power jet nozzle on the outlet? I dont have any live plants, and really don't plan on it if it makes a difference.
My tank is located on a stand between the kitchen and living room so we can see both sides depending on which room you are in, and I want to make the tubes look as nice as possible. It will already look a lot nicer once I remove the UGF uplift tubes.
Thanks a lot!!
