Just some info on the bumblebee. I personally would skip it its gonma get to big for your tank and since its already more territorial and aggressive with it in a smaller tank.then needed it can become much more aggressive as it grows . These fish grow fast and can grow up to 4in in less then a year. Trust me on this i got a fish i thought ibcould add no problem to a 55g he was only 3 1/2 max but i ended up in less then 6mths having to upgrade to a 125g 6ft long tank to keep him from killing my other fish and he is still a handful

If its just the coloring you like they wont stay that color as they turn mostly black when mating/getting more mature and there is other fih smaller and better suited for a 55g community but at the end of the day its your tank your decision

Looks like our gonna have the same probl with the electric blue its an 8in aggressive fish

With cichlids your also gonna need more filteration then required for a 55g its usually like 5 or 10 times more.. for example on my 55g with 18 fish i had a penguin 350, top fin 60 and a xp2 canister .. which i have 3 hob filters on my 125g now and am gonna add my canister to it

Ok. I guess I'll skip them then... I know they turn almost black... That's one of the reasons I like them. :) okay so I guess I'll skip the electric blues too then... I've got at least one blue fish in there already, so that's not such a big problem. Are there any other colorful smallish ones you think would be ok with my other stock?

Ok. Good to know about the filtering... How would it be if I added a few sponge filters hidden by the rocks? I also have under gravel filtering I was going to get rid of because I wanted to switch to sand, but do you think it would be better to just keep it the way it is for the extra filtering? I don't really want to buy another filter at this point...

Well since they are smaller i think you have time before you really need another filter just check your levels .. sponge filters i have never used but i dont see why they wouldnt be ok .. i think sand would be best from personal experience and i dont care for ug filters so i would say ditch it ..

You can check out different sites like cichlidsarespecial.com davesfish.com and just see what they have and what else you may like .. or go to cichlid-forum.com/profiles i have some pseudo. chasolis (mayb not spelled right) they look similar to bumblebees ..

I breed yellow labs and sell every last one of them... Not sure why you would say you cant sell them.

in.my area they're a.dime dozen I've tried many times and.no luck.end.up keeping them my self or letting nature take effect

I don't know why it was said they don't sell I love my yellow lab he brings a great colour to my tank & such a great attitude very friendly fish

So yesterday I took the water and gravel out of the tank... Going to get some sand and hopefully some rocks soon. Possibly next weekend or sooner. :) and (NOOOOO!) I can't upload anymore pictures!!! D: I might just make a new account so I can upload pics to this thread. ;) is that allowed???

I can't edit any of my posts with pictures :( is there a time limit as to when you can still edit?
