Hello forum!
If I am lucky, my aunt is going to give me her big aquarium for free. I don't know how exactly how big it is, but it comes with a stand and big equipment. It is over 30 gallons for sure, so I'm thinking it's a 50+ gallon tank? I'll have to have another look at it later on.
My question is about certain species of fish and their compatibility. Here is the list of fish I have researched frequently and are my favorites:
1. Honey Gourami
2. Dwarf Gourami
3. Pearl Gourami
4. Golden Gourami
5. Congo Tetra
6. Angelfish
7. Dwarf Loach
When I did the research, these are the fish with similar temperatures and temperaments. I do realize every once in a while a aggressive Angel shows up. Would these fish be able to be a community within a tank? If one species isn't, what species that are similar could?
I don't care about interbreeding between the gourami types, so I was thinking of having one pearl with three different females, such as a golden female, snakeskin female, and moonlight female (since they are similar size), and one dwarf male with two dwarf females and a honey female (these are all examples of my plan, not my actual plans).
Thanks in advance for the advice.
