Fish I.D. help!

My local LFS sells this white/pink fish with totally blacked out eyes. They say it's a blind cave tetra, but it does not have the same body style or eye style as A. mexicanus. It resembles more of a white skirt tetra, except its fins are much longer, it is slower moving and its eyes are completely jet black. Any ideas?
I want to know what kind it is because I am working on a low-light cave setup. I thought I could have a school of these and a red lobster (small crayfish).

I didn't have time to go there today...I will try to get a picture of one tomorrow. Any guesses for the time being?
