Honestly even the 6 platies and the gourami is a pretty heavy load already. I'd have all of the fry become goldfish food unless you're doing at least 50% water changes weekly. The plants look great and will help keep the parameters in check between water changes

I do 50 percent twice a week actually. But there are no more gourami. Both are gone and all I have are the platies. Just fed em some frozen bloodworms. They loved em.

Ahhh perfect then! 8-10 platies is probably as high as you'll want to push it with that water change/stocking, but you should be ok as long as you keep an eye on the parameters.
