Fish id?

They have a few of these in a tank at my lfs and there is no tag. Just wondering what they are.

It's really hard to tell with how blurry it is. Baby discus or severum maybe?

It looks like a green Severum to me. They're a large, peaceful fish as far as large south American cichlids go. They get to be 8-12 inches.

Could they be kept in a community tank? Would they eat neons?

They could. So long as the tank is large enough. Typically, they won't eat tetras so long as they are well fed. But, the only warning is you may lose a tetra now and then.
