Fish looking like they're sleeping

Fish do "sleep" at times. There's two large goldfish in a tank at my house that bed down under a fake plant and nap together on the bottom of the tank. They also spawn frequently so they also chase each other and splash at the surface.

fish rest, but the only fish that I know of that actually sleeps is guppies. Tho im sure some others do.

OP if you could provide more details and some pictures it would be easier for someone to tell you whether your fish are sick or just normal behavior. Without more info it's a guessing game really.

Believe it or not that's what I have guppies woke up in the am no lites on looked at tank all along the bottom with a couple of scouts watching

Yep, guppies actually sleep. Unlike most fish that only rest at night.
