Fish with columanris, worth the treatment?

So all of my platys have columnaris and one of my guppies. So 5 fish in total. I have a 40 gallon tank, with a variety of different fish. I noticed the disease about 2 weeks ago, and it hasn't really gotten worse, and I've been doing water changes pretty often!

So my question is, should I bother spending the money and time trying to cure this, or just let it go?

Normally if not treated right away of doesn't go over well imo

I would suggest treating or you risk losing not just the 5 fish with obvious symptoms but your entire tank.
