Fish won't eat flakes, help

My new ruby scat won't eat flakes. He seems to not notice that its even food. For the last 2 days he's been eating frozen brine shrimp but since he's an omnivore I'm thinking he needs some veggies too. Any ideas?

he's probably just being picky, stop feeding the brine and give it a couple days.

Well I feed my bgk brine and he always just manages to get some. I'll try to not let him get it though. Thanks

Starve him for a few days. Then he'll eat the flakes.


Edit: I didn't realize someone already said that. DUH :0

You have a scat and a ghost knife in the same tank? Ones brackish, one isn't....

The scat is just a baby and doesn't need brackish till older. I plan on selling him at about 4". He's about 1/2" right now, if that. Was in fw at store I got him from too
