Fissidins dying?

You are referring to the dull colored growth? Are there patches of brighter, green new growth? I would give it more time. It took a few weeks for the fissidens in my tank to show positive growth. Once it started, it really took off.
Fast forward 6 months and the growth is meh. I am having problems with hair algae as well. I don't fertilize the tank so based on the lighting (Finnex 24/7) it might be suffering from a nutrient deficiency. It seemed to do better with less light (Finnex FugeRay).
