Floating/surface plants help

Hi, I want some floating or surface plants for my tropical aquarium, I like water Lily's but I how only found some that would over run the tank easily, all suggestions appreciated. I prefer plant like Lily type things rather than floating like duck weed type of thing.

Banana plant all the way. Easy to grow and pretty awesome. Can be planted in the ground with leaves growing up or floated (Im not sure how you do it floating)

Not sure on that 1 :/ I think I will have to see it in the flesh so I get a better idea but just the sort of ideas i am looking for, thanks good suggestion

Hygrophyla difformis will float and is not a demanding plant.

Get some frogbit, cool stuff and it floats in the tank, plus it gives some hiding/breeding spots for your fish.
