Flourite

Hey again. Just wondered if a bed of flourite in my sump would be ok? My mate gave me half a bag I just want to make sure its ok for salt water systems.

I wouldn't use flourite in a saltwater aquarium. It's made to hold nutrients in for slow release. Not to mention the fact that its a coarse gravel and will trap detrius.
