This is what is in it from the MSDS:
Sodium Thiosulfate < 25%
This is the chemical most commonly used to convert ammonia to ammonium and detoxify.
Organic Colloids < 5%
These are likely to collect small particles and clear the water. These might have the effect you want, but since not more specific, we can't know for sure.
Organic Chelating Compounds < 2.5%
These are designed to bind the heavy metals. Not helpful for planted tanks.
Polyvinylpyrrolidones < 1%
This encourages a slime coat on the fish. While generally believed helpful for transportation, there is some controversy around longer term use.
The product appears to be very similar to Prime and others. Just thought you'd like to know.
