Glass Beads

What do people think of glass beads?
I was thinking of putting them in my tank but after reading up about them on the net I found out that the dye can sometimes bleed into the water, will it harm the fish?

Never heard of dye leaking out of glass. They sell multi colored glass bead things for aquariums at pet shops so I would figure they are safe. I would be careful with them if you have any diggers or fish with barbels (catfish and such). If they get their barbels stuck between them it can be damaging.

Yeah I have a bn catfish, female I do believe, that sucks saw them at my LFS and thought they looked so nice
