is this a good heater? 200 watts for 55 gallon tank

and i had a question
do you ever need to replace anything on a heater? like you have cartridges for filters. what about heaters?

no replacement parts for heaters. That should be good enough for 55 gal.

Nope, you keep using it until it fails. Then you throw it away and get another one.
Note they usually fail by means of being on all the time. Which is why many people suggest buying two heaters, each one not actually being big enough to (over) heat the tank on it's own, so if one fails by being stuck on, you won't boil your fish!
