I had recently upgraded the lighting in my 5.5g from 1-10watt 6500k CF to 2 lights. This rid me off the brown algae and everything was going great until I introduced ICH either with a plant that I bought or some live brine shrimp I fed (Really have no idea). Right now I am about done with my first week of 86 degree heat and a little salt and my tank has exploded with green algae. The walls, the sand, if I looked hard enough I bet I would find it starting on my fish!!! :) Just wondering if this is to be expected with the high heat or could it be something else? Thanks a lot!
