Green terror and oscar

Just wondering if anyone has luck with keeping an medium sized Oscar with a medium sized green terror?

As I have a tiger Oscar at the moment and have just been giving a free green terror they are both the same size as each other but just wanted to see if anyone has had luck, on some fish site's it says that they both make good tank mates given there in a good sized tank

Any help would be great

I had to give my green terror to one of my friends cuz his aggression was crazy. And was in a tank with Oscar. Hope that helps

How big is the tank?

It's a 6 foot by 2 foot

Yes the Oscar at the moment and it has been up and running for just over a year and was cycled. Maybe if I just put the green terror in and see how it goes??

That sounds like 180Gallon tank based on those dimensions. The GT is probably a little aggressive for the oscar, but it might work in a tank that size.

I would be prepared to rehome or separate with egg crate if they don't take well to each other.
