Guppies and Platys

Do guppys and Platys go well together??

Well it depends on how big the tank is. Usually they should get along fine.

I thought so, but I think Ive heard that they arent suppose to be put together (cant imagine why, they both look like peaceful community tank fish. I have Platys and I love them)
I have a 29gallon now, but I think everyone is getting moved to my future 100gl

Probably because platies and guppies can interbreed, so for example a female platy can breed witih a male guppy. Well, I don't know if that's true but I think that's why.
