Yes they're great for beginners. And they will multiply like crazy if you get males and females. I'd stick with all males because if you got both genders you'd be getting over 20+ guppy fry each month! Plus there's the 2f:1m issue as well... Good luck though!

It is best to get one male to two or three females.

You can get this for them its called a breeder box, u put the females in there before they drop(give birth) to the babies. OR you could get a net breeder. Which is basicly the same thing exept theres no seperation for the fry and its a net lol hense the name 'net' breeder

If you want the secret to breeding guppies it's pretty simple just add water lol

I wouldn't separate the fry let the strong survive it will keep the population under control
