I have a spare 10 gallon tank. I was tihnking of stocking it with some guppies and a snail. Making it low light planted. I was thinking of starting off with 1 male guppy and 3 females and a snail. Is this two many guppies, could I add a few more? Or would this be the maximum for a 10g?

I think that would be okay, but you're going to end up with a lot more guppies pretty quickly.

ok, so should i just stick with four guppies then? Also do you think it would be a good or bad idea to add maybe some cory cats or something along those lines? thanks for all your help

Four male guppies would work out well. You could put some of the Pygmy Cories in there, but I generally like to understock smaller tanks such as the one you have.
