guppy fry not eaten by other guppies. . .

Went to a fish store and saw adult guppies with guppy fry.

So my question is how do i get new 20 guppy fry (in a net right now) with my other 10 adult guppies to be not eaten?

Feed them well and hope for the best. Some will eat fry, some won't. Seems like if they make it past a week or two they are usually big enough not to be eaten anymore also.

And, give them places to hide. Floating plants perhaps. Even if they are too big to be eaten, they will be chased.

I've heard that if you give the adult guppies a stern talking to, it can go a long ways.
