Is they're any fish/invert that eats hair algae? Starting to get it and want to get rid of it before it starts.

I have a sea hare that cleaned my system. Now i have to find it a home or it'll starve.
I completely agree on finding the source of the problem first.... But when I had hair algae I added a phosphate reactor, cheato in my fuge and added a cleanup crew (blue leg hermits, Bertie snails, and a few random snails/hermits) and my hair algae was gone in two days. I had a bad case of it too. That was months ago and it never came back. So if you're lacking any one of these, is add them. My nitrates were reading zero but I knew that had to be false.
Don't try to get rid of it with livestock. Find the source and nip it in the bud.
