Aquarium Advice Apprentice
Hi I'm a Uni student. I live in NSW Sydney.
A few months ago I got some Betta splendens because I missed having a charismatic little fish around.
I've now got 3 tanks (one of which is a barrack) because I just couldn't help myself - fish are so pretty! Originally I was looking to buy fish as a birthday present for someone & couldn't help but fall for them as I researched further (^^).
Fish I have currently:
3x bettas (2 adult males, 1 female (I think) juvenile)
12x Endler Livebearers
3x Kuhli Loaches (the striped ones)
Inverts:
1x largish Golden Mystery Snail
~20-30 glass shrimp (Paratya australiensis)
I want to get an axolotl as well =]
I want to breed Endlers and bettas when I get more experienced with fish keeping =]
I also want to get a bigger tank for the kuhlis and the endlers because the tank is at 100% stocking =/
It would also be cool to get into breeding wild bettas for conservation purposes.
I love my fish and am excited to meet other people who are passionate about them.
p.s. sorry my intro is so disjointed - I really need to get better at them because it doesn't read very well (sorry!)
